Time sheets suck. If I could just do my job and not have to worry about logging hour to bill people, I would enjoy working so much more and be so much less stressed out. I’d be willing to bet that over half the stress I experience is due to time sheets.

I wonder what interplanetary colonization will do to a holiday like Earth Day in the future. I kind of enjoy the thought of it turning into an internationalism fueled day of rivalry between planets, where tags like “Earth4Ever” and “MarsIsForLosers” would be common on Twitter. But then again, every sci-fi show I’ve ever seen leads me to believe this will somehow result in war with giant robots.

So what I’m trying to say is Happy Earth Day.

This past weekend was Stay Sweet Fest III in Richmond, VA and oh man it was such a kick-ass time! This also explains why there were no comics Friday or Monday because I was driving for eternity both days.

One of the best parts of graduating college and moving into the “real world” is seeing my friends succeed. Over the past year I’ve seen many of my friends find their dream job or just excel in a personal project that they really work hard at. We live in a tough world and it’s incredibly gratifying to see them happy. It’s extremely inspiring and I’m proud of each one of them.

I believe there’s definitely something powerful about not only knowing what kind of life you want to live, but also letting other people know. Don’t be smug about what you want, but share your aspirations and make your friends hold you accountable. When you talk about it, you’re letting yourself know you’re serious too.
